Live Your Life Events

For Members only

 
At Amida Care, we know that life is about more than just medical appointments and taking medications on time. Amida Care's Member Advisory Committee (MAC) selected topics for these events that are of interest to our members. Two evening each month, members will meet with guest experts to get information about, and experience firsthand, services, such as: Nutrition, Meditation and Acupuncture. Most events will be limited to the 1st 50 members who sign up. A light and healthy meal will be served and Metro-Cards will be provided.

Amida Care is a New York State sponsored HIV Special Needs Plan (SNP) that provides health care services for people on Medicaid living with HIV and their children. Amida Care services Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens and Staten Island. Starting September 1, 2010, if you live in New York City, choosing a Special Needs Plan or a regular Medicaid managed care plan is mandatory for PLWHA.
