Free or Low-Cost Medical Care
Care, treatment, and support services are available to all New Yorkers living with HIV, even if you do not have health insurance or money to pay for needed services. Depending on your age and circumstances, you may qualify for one or more low-cost health insurance options.
According to the New York State Department of Health, the following health insurance options are available if you qualify:
NYS Medicaid is a government insurance program for families and individuals with low income and resources. To be eligible, you must be a U.S. citizen or a legal resident who has lived in the U.S. for at least 5 years.
