“Continuing Quality Services to Members & Providers Under a New Name” Amida Care (formerly VidaCare)
April 1 2010
New York, NY (April 1, 2010) – Amida Care officially announces its name change (formerly VidaCare) – plus the Plan launches a NEW logo and website. The fresh website look and easier navigation are examples of quality enhancements. In addition, our Provider Network continues to grow with over 150 HIV PCP choices, over 6,000 specialists, more than 200 facilities and 28 hospital options. Our health promotion program continues to offer monthly workshops that support Member’s well-being and healthy relationships.
“Amida Care will include all the good things we created in VidaCare as well as new things like borough offices where Members can access support without ever leaving their borough/neighborhood. It’s a very exciting time. As a team, we’ve never been more committed to making health care work for our Members and their families,” said Amida Care CEO Doug Wirth.
