Amida Care President and CEO Doug Wirth Named Once Again to City & State’s 2021 Health Power 100
January 19 2021
For the second consecutive year, Amida Care President and CEO, Doug Wirth, has been selected for inclusion in City & State New York’s Health Power 100, an annual list of the 100 most powerful people in New York State’s health care community. The Health Power 100 honors influential health care practitioners, policy makers, and public servants who work in hospitals and clinics, unions, nonprofit organizations, health plans, law, and advocacy. In addition to Wirth, honorees include our friends, Charles King, CEO of Housing Works; Guillermo Chacon, President of the Latino Commission on AIDS; C. Virginia Fields, CEO of the National Black Leadership Commission on Health; Kelsey Louie, CEO of GMHC; Emma DeVito, President and CEO of VillageCare; and Anne Kauffman Nolon, CEO of Sun River Health.
This year, the Health Power 100 features the individuals who are navigating the COVID-19 crisis and finding a path forward for all New Yorkers. City & State highlights that in response to the coronavirus pandemic, Amida Care recently co-hosted a webinar with Gay City News and released a policy brief around COVID’s impact on New York’s plan to end HIV.
