Amida Care President and CEO Doug Wirth is among the recently released City & State Health Power 100, which recognizes leaders in New York health care. On January 23, he was celebrated with his fellow honorees at a ceremony at The Flat NYC in Manhattan. Howard Zucker, Commissioner of Health for New York State, and Oxiris Barbot, Commissioner, New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, spoke at the event.
City & State’s Health Power 100 highlights the stakeholders in New York City and State who are finding solutions to important health policy questions. The list includes top lawmakers and government appointees; executives at hospitals and health insurers; caregivers and advocates; and academics and consultants, who are all focused on promoting the health of New Yorkers.
