Amida Care President & CEO Doug Wirth Named Among Crain’s Notable 2022 Health Care Leaders

Amida Care President & CEO Doug Wirth has once again been included among Crain’s New York Notable Health Care Leaders. The special editorial feature spotlights individuals working in health care, government agencies, tech startups and related fields who have helped people lead healthier lives. The feature highlights Doug’s efforts to combat the racism, homophobia and transphobia that perpetuate health disparities.

This year’s honorees are notable for their consummate leadership, pioneering accomplishments and ability to adjust to crises. Additionally, they have demonstrated a commitment to mentoring.

Also named to the list is Sophia Nurani, Assistant Director for Community Health at Ryan Health, who specializes in gender-affirming care, PrEP and PEP to prevent HIV, opioid addiction treatment and HIV/AIDS prevention and care.  Sophia was nominated for the award by Amida Care.
