Amida Care President & CEO Doug Wirth Named to 2022 City & State NY Pride Power 100

Doug Wirth, President and CEO of Amida Care, has once again been named among City & State New York’s annual Pride Power 100, which this year highlights the power of diversity. The feature, released on June 6, mentions Doug’s op-ed in amNewYork urging greater usage of and access to PrEP – pre-exposure prophylaxis – to jumpstart HIV prevention in New York.
The annual list highlights the LGBTQ New Yorkers who serve in local and state government as well as lead the organizations, nonprofits, companies and other institutions shaping the region’s landscape, in the LGBTQ community and beyond. Amida Care congratulates Doug on this recognition of his ongoing leadership in fighting for LGBTQ rights and health care access. The honorees were recognized at a reception at The Delancey on Monday evening, which featured State Senator Brad Hoylman, NYC Council Member Crystal Hudson, and Chanel Lopez, Deputy Director of LGBTQ Affairs, Office of Governor Kathy Hochul, as keynote speakers.
