Amida Care Stands with The TransLatin@ Coalition Against Hate

Amida Care is horrified to learn of the bomb threat received by our friends at The TransLatin@ Coalition in Los Angeles earlier this week. While we are relieved that no one was physically harmed and that The TransLatin@ Coalition has resumed activities, this incident is a sobering reminder of the discrimination and hatred TGNC people face on a daily basis.
Everyone deserves to live in a society where they can live their lives authentically and without fear. We are thankful for the work TransLatin@ Coalition and countless other organizations across the country do to provide safe spaces where people can feel loved and supported. We stand with them, and with all LGBTQ+ communities, against hate.
