NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio Appoints Guillermo Chacon to HASA Community Advisory Board

Amida Care congratulates Guillermo Chacon, president of the Latino Commission on AIDS (LCOA) and founder of the Hispanic Health Network, on his appointment as chair for the Community Advisory Board of the HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA), a NYC program that helps people living with HIV/AIDS access a range of social services. Chacon has been a tireless champion for people living with HIV/AIDS. Under his leadership, LCOA has helped raise awareness about the need for resources to address HIV in the Latino community.
