Using your Dental Benefits not only gets you a healthy smile, but also gives you another reason to show it off! You and your child can earn Amida Care Healthy Rewards just by visiting the dentist. Adults (21 and over) can earn $20 per year for a dental checkup; Amida Care-enrolled children between 18 months and 20 years old can earn $25 per checkup, up to two per year.

Don’t Lose your Medicaid Benefits!

It’s time to renew your Medicaid health insurance. Be on the lookout for a Medicaid renewal notice in the mail from NY State of Health (Marketplace) or Human Resources Administrative (HRA). Be sure to update your contact information so you don’t miss this important letter.

To update your contact information, call NY State of Health at 1-855-355-5777 (TTY: 1-800-662-1220) or log into your account at nystateofhealth.ny.gov.

If you enrolled in Medicaid through Human Resources Administration (HRA), you can call the HRA Medicaid Helpline at 888-692-6116 or log into your account at ACCESS HRA.

ALERT !

Scammers are contacting Medicaid recipients asking for payment to renew their insurance. Don’t send any money; it is a con! There is no cost to renew your Medicaid. If you have questions or need help renewing your Medicaid, call Amida Care at 1-800-556-0689, TTY 711.

Your pharmacy benefits have changed, but we’re still here for you!

Please note: Your prescriptions are no longer covered by Amida Care, but are now covered by Medicaid NYRx, the Medicaid pharmacy program. Most pharmacies in New York State take the Medicaid NYRx pharmacy program. If your pharmacy does not take Medicaid, you may:

♦ Ask your doctor to send a new prescription to a pharmacy that takes Medicaid NYRx pharmacy program, or

♦ Ask your pharmacist to transfer a refill to a pharmacy that takes Medicaid NYRx pharmacy program, or

♦ Locate a pharmacy that takes Medicaid NYRx at: https://member.emedny.org.

Report Fraud, Waste, or Abuse

Fighting fraud is everyone’s responsibility, and we can all make a difference! Medicaid fraud can be committed by beneficiaries or providers. An example of beneficiary fraud: lending your Medicaid ID card to someone else so that they can get medical care. An example of provider fraud: a pharmacy asking to buy back your medications.

If you suspect any cases of fraud, waste, or abuse that involve your care, please call the Amida Care Compliance Hotline at 888-394-2285. When you call the free hotline, you can leave your name and number OR you can remain anonymous.
